The T20 tri-series featuring Zimbabwe, Australia and Pakistan, which is scheduled to start from July 1, is in jeopardy as cricketers from the host nation set a deadline for their governing body to clear their dues.

The financial stress in Zimbabwe Cricket led to delayed salaries for cricketers and staff members.

The players have threatened to boycott the series if their payment is not cleared by June 25.

According to reports, the Zimbabwe cricketers are still waiting to receive match fees from last July’s tour of Sri Lanka, besides the salary for three months.

ZC officials believe the matter is likely to be resolved by this week.
