Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut for Real Madrid following a record-breaking £80 million move from Manchester United on August 29, 2009.

He scored a penalty on debut in a 3-2 win against Deportivo La Coruna at the Santiago Bernabeu. It would be the first of his 451 goals in a Real shirt, making a club legend.
