Borussia Dortmund fought back to defeat bitter rival Bayern Munich 3-2 to reach the German Cup final on Wednesday. A brilliant strike from Ousmane Dembele 15 minutes from the end settled a tie which had seen Dortmund trail 2-1 at half-time.
Dortmund will play in a fourth consecutive final when it faces Eintracht Frankfurt on May 27. Eintracht reached the final on Tuesday with a penalty shootout win over Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Marco Reus had put Dortmund ahead after 19 minutes only for Javi Martinez to level nine minutes later. Mats Hummels put Bayern 2-1 ahead before the break before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made it 2-2 on 69 minutes.
That paved the way for Dembele to hit the winner with a curling left-foot shot.
