Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay have announced a joint-bid for hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The 24th edition will also mark the centenary year of the tournament, when the tournament was first held in Uruguay.

Argentina is the current holder of the World Cup after it beat France in the final in Qatar in December last year.
