A victory against Bahrain on Monday will seal India's passage into the round-of-16 stage of the AFC Asian Cup and left-back Subhasish Bose feels the team is ready for the task ahead.
"We were a little disappointed after the loss (against UAE) but we played a very good game. We know that we can perform better and win the next match. We believe in ourselves and have to set our minds to win against Bahrain and concentrate on reaching the next round," he said after the team's practice at the Sharjah University on Saturday evening.

Talking about what coach Stephen Constantine said post the UAE game, Bose said, "He told us to take the positives and that we have to look forward to winning our upcoming match."
He also added that Constantine has given the freedom to play their natural game. "We do have a little pressure on us but coach has given us a lot of confidence and has told us to play freely."
The tie promises to be exciting as Bahrain has only one point after playing a draw with UAE and losing 1-0 to Thailand and will be set on getting past India to improve its chances of progressing to the next round.
Bose acknowledges that this is a huge game for the the team and is confident of a good show. "We don't get such opportunities often and everyone will play their best," he said.
