Bhaichung Bhutia... “It is a great honour for me to a part of such a tournament.”

Former India football captain Bhaichung Bhutia has joined Premier Futsal League (PFL) as its Talent Director.

Commenting on his association with the PFL, where he would spearhead the Indian amateur talent hunt programme, Bhutia said, “PFL has enabled youngsters in the country to take up the sport. It has provided a boost to the skill development among youth. It is a great honour for me to be a part of such a tournament and I hope we can provide an impetus for more and more aspiring talent to be a part of the Premier Futsal platform.”

Dinesh Raj, Managing Director, Premier Futsal League said, “It is a matter of great pride and honour for us to have a personality of Bhaichung’s stature to be a part of Premier Futsal. His achievements speak for the kind of impact he has had on Indian football and who better to lead and mentor India’s amateur talent to help them realise their true potential. We look forward to a successful association with him.”

The second season of the PFL promises to be bigger and more engaging with more match days, greater number of host cities and a varied range of global superstars.
