FULL-TIME!

Axel's block is the last action of the game as the long whistle draws curtain on this successful trip to Dortmund for Bayern Munich.

Surely must be the last effor the home team. Gotze with a weak ball from the left. Easily pouched by Neuer. Bayern on the counter. Muller to Lewandowski, whose shot is blocked by Witsel and that's that!

90+2': No penalty? Lewandowski is pushed away by Akanji but the referee is not interested.

THREE ADDED MINUTES TO THE SECOND HALF

Less than three minutes to go in regulation time. Bayern bringing in more defensive players. Urgency is the order for Dortmund.

86' SUBSTITUTION for BAYERN- IN-Martinez| OUT- Gnabry

85' SUBSTITUTION for DORTMUND- IN-Axel | OUT- Dahoud

83' WAS THAT ROBBEN? NO, IT WAS LEWANDOWSKI!! So close! Just denied by the left post. From the centre, right outside the box, Lewandowski curls the ball past a divng Burki off his left-foot. But the ball finds the upright.

80' NEUER SAVES! Dahoud's stinger from distance is dealt with by Neuer.

80' SUBSTITUTION for DORTMUND- IN-Gotze | OUT- Piszczek

77' OFFSIDE! Emra Can with a delightful ball from the right. He drills a low cross into the box to Hazard, who misses from six yards out. But he was offside!

75' GUERREIRO rifles the ball from the spot directly to Neuer, who doesn't even flinch while collecting the ball.

74' YELLOW FOR DAVIES AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, FREE-KICK FOR DORTMUND FROM A DANGEROUS POSITION. Davies with a sliding tackle on Reyna and Bayern is not happy with the booking.

73' SUBSTITUTION for BAYERN | IN- Perisic | OUT- Coman

An ordinary night for Haaland comes to an end as he limps off the pitch, making way for the 17-year-old Reyna. He was contained all night and couldn't make the most of his half chances.

71' SUBSTITUTION FOR DORTMUND| IN- Giovanni Reyna| OUT- Haaland

71' WHAT HAPPENED THERE?  Sancho finds himself in space and with time on the left flank. He curls in a dinking ball to the far post. The ball bounces awkwardly and Neuer lets it go. Haaland would have made it had he gone for the dive.

67' YELLOW FOR DAHOUD! a bit harsh, you have to say. He had the ball prior to the tackle he made on Kimmich and while that was a foul, shouldn't have been a yellow.

66' YELLOW CARD FOR MULLER! His fourth on the season. a rough challenge on Akanji and he enters the book.

58' HAALAND MISSES BY A WHISKER! ACCIDENTAL BUT BOATENG SAVES MAKE THE BLOCK. Haaland, inside the box, has sight on goal. His left-foot effort is on target but it deflects off Boateng's arm, who had slipped, and roll away for the corner. Nothing comes off the corner.

54' GORETZKA BUT BURKI WITH ANOTHER SAVE. The Dortmund goalkeeper gets low to his right just on time to keep a Goretzka shot out.

53' BURKI, THIS TIME, SAVES! Coman, ever so dangerous on the right, gets in a low cross into the box. Burki intercepts and makes the save.

49' DAHOUD ON TARGET BUT NEUER SAVES! Once again, Dortmund gets a shot on target early into the half. A shot from distance by straight to the Bayern keeper.

47' EARLY CHANCE FOR BAYERN BUT COMAN'S OVERHITS IT! Pavard plays the ball to Coman, up and over Akanji. The winger zips down the right and crosses the ball but there is too much power on the ball.

OUT-Brandt, Delaney| IN- Sancho, Emre Can

We are back with the second half. Two half-time substitutions for Dortmund.

The work-rate from both teams was high. One goal-line clearance each on either side. 48%-52% possession to the home team. Seven-eight shots for the visitor. Multiple half-chances BUT IT WAS A MOMENT OF MAGIC BY KIMMICH THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE SO FAR.

45+1' The referee's whistle brings the first half to and end.

43' GOOOOOALLLLLL! KIMMICH WITH A WORLD-CLASS CHIP AND OUT OF NOWHERE! He has been sub-par today but not this time. Just outside the box in the centre, he beats Roman Burki with a glorious dink. The Dortmund keeper does get a hand  but it's not strong enough.

42' PENALTY CRY, BUT REFEREE NOT INTERESTED! Delaney and Goretzka fight for the ball inside the box on the left. The latter comes down and appeals for a penalty, but nothing doing says the referee.

40' BURKI WITH ANOTHER SAVE! Goretzka's shot from 30 yards out is saved by Burki.

35' WHAT WAS THAT BY BRANDT? He has been very off-colour today. Dahoud plays an excellent ball to find Brandt on the right.  He has acres of space and ample time to find a cross to Haaland. But his first-time effort is too strong and the ball rolls out for a Bayern goalkick.

33' Haaland misses yet again. Freed down the centre and he finds himself in a 3v1 situation. He tries to go left from the edge of the box but is outnumbered and dispossessed.

31' CORNER FOR DORTMUND! Good clearance by Alaba. Hazard's low cross from the left, seeking Haaland, is cleared by Alaba.

30' HALF A CHANCE FOR HAALAND! T. Hazard in space down the centre before playing it left to Haaland. The striker's effort is blocked by Davies.

27' SCRAPPY DEFENDING FROM BAYERN! After Haaland misses the scissor kick, the clearance is poor and Brandt sends a loopy cross from the left. But the ball, meant for Haaland, is headed away for a Dortmund throw-in by Alaba.

26' WHAT A CHALLENGE BY PISZCZEK! Lewandowski was able to move the ball ahead with ease right down the centre. But his countryman had other ideas as he dispossessed the Bayern striker with a well-timed sliding tackle from behind.

24' COMAN'S BULLET SAVED BY BURKI. Corner for Bayern. Kimmich take it but Dormund clears away through Delaney. Coming to the save, Coman's stinger from the edge of the box is kept out by Burki before another yellow shirt conceded the corner.

22' A good spell of possession by Bayern. The teams finally seems to have turned up and a goal seems imminent. Could Bayern or Dortmund, against the run of play.

19' ANOTHER SAVE OFF THE LINE, BUT THIS AT THE OTHER END! Bayern almost ahead. Lukasz Piszczek saves the day, as of now, for the men in black and yellow. Coman squeezes through the Dortmund defence on the right and finds enough space square it quickly to Gnabry, who gets the ball past Burki but the low shot is saved in the nick of time by Piszczek.

Dortmund with the lion's share of the ball, with 58%, and with more shots on target. Unusual but shows that Dortmund is in command currently.

13' YELLOW CARD FOR HUMMELS! His fourth of the season. But it was more of tactical one. He gets into a tussle with Coman and pulls him back. Had Hummels not done that, Coman would have threatened the Dortmund goal.

12' JUST MISSES MULLER! Bayern beginning to show some intent up front now. First, Lewandowski's cross from the left flank is saved by Burki. That is followed up with Kimmich's lob pass into the box, looking for Muller. But the ball is just an inch too high as Burki makes another easy grab.

9' TOO LONG ON THE BALL, HAALAND! Hamiki, once again, plays a delightful through ball down the right and this time, Hazard zips down the right. He takes it to the edge of the box before playing a quick pass to Haaland. But Haaland's first touch is heavy and his forced left-footer is blocked by Boateng.

8' CORNER FOR DORTMUND! Down the right wing, Hakimi lays it to Haaland. The striker's shot from close-range is blocked. Nothing comes off the corner.

5' BLOCKED! Dortmund defenders doing their job at the back as well. Lewandowski's attempt on goal blocked by Hummels.

4' ANOTHER SHOT ON TARGET BUT SAVED! Dortmund getting past the defence quickly and with ease. Delaney finds Guerreiro with a lovely long ball. The latter takes it to the byline downt the left flank before squaring it to Brandt, whose curler from the edge of the box is easily pouched by Neuer.

4' Dortmund off to a positive start here. Good passing and been very proactive.

1' Goal-line save by Boateng! Neuer is involved in the first 30 seconds of the match. What a start by Dortmund! Thorgan Hazard is freed down the centre  by Brandt but the sweeper-keeper Neuer charges ahead but his sliding clearance only falls as Haaland. The striker takes a crack at goal but Boateng was quick to cover up.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Bayern Munich can take a significant step towards another Bundesliga title if it can inflict more Klassiker misery on Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

That said, Lucien Favre's side has won the past two meetings at Signal Iduna Park and will feel confident of pulling off a victory that would mark a best run at home against the champion for more than 50 years.

Robert Lewandowski is in ruthless form, but Freiburg's Nils Petersen has endured a miserable recent run and will hope to get back among the goals against Eintracht Frankfurt, his favourite opponent.

But how the two teams shape up in the head-to-head count? Let's have a look.
