Mohamed Elneny believes Arsenal will travel to Germany with confidence for its clash against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday after getting back to winning ways in the Premier League.

Alexis Sanchez struck a brace as Arsenal bounced back from successive Premier League defeats to record a 2-0 home victory against Hull City at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Elneny made his return from international duty as a second-half substitute in that win, having suffered disappointment in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations as Egypt lost 2-1 to Cameroon despite opening the scoring himself. But the midfielder is confident he can earn silverware with Arsenal this season.

"All our focus is on competing for all of the available titles including the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League so that we can achieve something together," Elneny said.

"That's why beating Hull was so important, because we have an important Champions League game coming up. It means we will now travel with confidence on our side and that is extremely important before a big game like this."

Arsene Wenger's future has been making headlines again, with the Arsenal manager's contract set to expire at the end of the season, but Elneny hailed the Frenchman's ability to make his squad feel welcome.

"Back here, I feel I am in my home," the 24-year-old said. "We are one family and you work really hard with people who really love you."

"That made me adapt quickly, and helped me to start training immediately as I felt that the team really needs me now. I don't want a vacation or a time off, I want to work hard and play with the team. "Everything is going fine here. We all love our coach and we don't concentrate on anything other than the next game."
