England came back from a one goal deficit to defeat Italy 3-1 to make it to the final of the Under 20 FIFA World Cup, currently held in South Korea.

England rode on Dominic Solanke's brace and a lone strike from Ademola Lookman to set up a final clash with Venezuela on Sunday. Interestingly, all three of England's goals came in the last 25 minutes of the game.

Earlier in the day, Venezuela stormed into the U-20 FIFA World Cup final by defeating Uruguay 4-3 in a tense penalty shootout. Uruguay opened the scoring in the the 49th minute when Nicolas De La Cruz converted from the spot.

Uruguay held on to the lead until the 90th minute, when Venezuela equalised in spectacular fashion. After coming on in the 76th minute, substitute Samuel Sosa struck an absolute stunner of a free-kick to take the game to extra time.

Both teams had a few chances in extra time but neither could convert. Venezuela came very close to scoring but was denied by the post.

In the penalty shootout that followed, Venezuela goalkeeper Wuilker Farinez made a crucial save to take his team to the final.
