30' Penalty! Bukayo Saka was fouled in the box second before the off-side goal and the referee after an on-field check gives a spot kick for Arsenal.

27' No Goal!!!!!! Bukayo Saka gets the ball to Odegaard and then the ball falls for Nketiah in front of De Gea, as he finishes to double up the lead for Arsenal. But Var rules out the goal as Off-side

25' Save- Eddie Nketiah's thunderous shot is saved well by De Gea. The shot was straight and at a comfortable height for the Spaniard.

24' Off the crossbar- Diogo Dalot with a tremendous strike from outside the box. The shot had wonderful dip but the ball hits the crossbar and comes back into play. Unlucky for the Portuguese fullback.

20' A patient United move ends with Ronaldo taking a shot from inside the box but the Portuguese cannot keep his shot down. It is a goalkick to Arsenal.

19' Martin Odegaard takes the freekick but it goes out of play. He could not make the ball dip enough.

18' Elanga brings down Nketiah near the United box and it is an Arsenal freekick in a dangerous area.

14' A great run by Elanga from the flanks as he makes his way into the box, closely chased by Tavares. He takes a tumble and cannot get his shot away. VAR checks for a penalty but nothing is given.

11' Chance- Ramsdale with an error as he passes directly to Mctominay. Mctominay sends the ball to Bruno who tries to lob the ball into the empty net but fails to do so.

9' Saka is down on the ground and the reason is unknown for now. Arsenal would not want to lose him given how it has started the match.

7' A big applause by the Emirates crowd in the seventh minute in support of Cristiano Ronaldo who lost his newborn son recently.

6' Save- Ramdale does well to get his glove as Anthony Elanga takes a shot. The angle was always against the young Swedish forward.

3' GOOOAAALLL!! ARSENAL SCORES!! ITS TAVARES!! Smabolic defending by United as Lindelof and Varane both missed the ball. Saka's initial shot was saved brilliantly by De Gea but Tavares tapped-in the rebound from point-blank range.

2' Dalot tries to find Fernandes with a lofted through ball but Gabriel does well to intercept the pass.
