Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hip injury.
The England international sustained the problem during the pre-match warm up prior to Liverpool's encounter against Crystal Palace on Sunday at home.
Sturridge has been plagued by this injury and this could signal the end of his career at Anfield as the striker has hardly featured in Jurgen Klopp's plans this season.
Sturridge was out of action for two months with the initial injury, returning only for the recent Premier League wins at Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion, where he appeared as a second-half substitute in both fixtures.
