Guardiola: 'I am not going to retire in two or three years'

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss recently stated that he is "approaching the end of my coaching career" after a victory over Burnley which also saw the Catalan's dealings with the media scrutinised.

However, Guardiola has now clarified his comments, stressing he was talking about his long-term plans and maintaining his commitment to City.

"I am 45. I am not going to retire in two or three years," Guardiola said at a news conference. I love my job. I am in a perfect place to do my job, especially here in England. I am not going to train for 60 years. I want to do something else with my life. But now, I am not thinking about retiring, no."
