Liverpool will face Rubin Kazan in the Europa League at Russia on Thursday. The Reds currently sit second in Group B but will be wary of the Russian opponents, who managed a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at Anfield.
Belgian striker Christian Benteke, whose season has been marred with injuries, is expected to be a part of Liverpool's starting line-up for the match, after having come off the bench to score in Reds’ 3-1 victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Rubin Kazan are in a bad patch of form, with just two wins in their last 10 matches and will be looking to change their fortunes at the Kazan Arena.
Swiss club FC Sion, who currently top the Group table with 4 points, will battle it out with Ligue 1 side Bordeaux in the group’s other clash.
In a closely contested Group J, Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham, who are on a ten game undefeated streak in the Barclays Premier League, will host Belgian side Anderlecht at White Hart Lane. Spurs will be banking on striker Harry Kane, who seems to have rediscovered the magic that helped him become one of the top scorers in the Barclays Premier League last season.
It was Anderlecht who came on top when the two sides met in October at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium and they will be looking to repeat the feat in England.
French side Monaco will travel to Baku to face Qarabag in the other game of the Group.
