The Under-17 football teams from Brazil, England and New Zealand will play practice matches at the Mumbai Football Arena next week in the tune-up for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, MDFA President Aditya Thackeray told mediapersons at the Cooperage stadium.
The South American champion will play a practice game against New Zealand on September 28 at 5 pm. England will play a practice game against NZ on October 1.
Brazil is also expected to play a second practice game against a local club on September 30 at 8:00 pm. Indian Navy, Air India and Pune City FC are the names doing the rounds. The Indian national senior squad will also be training at the MFA during the same week for the Asian Cup Qualifier against Macau, informed Thackeray.
MFA has hosted Indian Super League matches and FIFA friendlies featuring India.
