Pedro Manzi fired two late goals to help Mohammedan Sporting outplay Churchill Brothers 4-1 in a championship leg match of the I-League at the Kalyani Stadium on Monday.
Hira Mondal and Vanlalbiaa Chhangte also got on the scoresheet in to complete Sporting’s score-line. Luka Majcen scored from a penalty to get the only reply for Churchill Brothers, which suffered its second successive defeat to lose its clear lead at the top of the standings.

Earlier, Komron Tursunov found the target in the 81st minute to help TRAU FC beat Roundglass Punjab FC by a solitary goal and pick up the full quota of points. The Imphal-based club thus drew level with the leader Churchill Brothers on points and in the process opened up the contest for the title.
Both teams were tied on 25 points each after playing 13 matches but Churchill continued to remain on top for having a better goal difference.
In the third game of the championship leg, Gokulam Kerala FC dropped vital points as it drew 1-1 with Real Kashmir FC at the Salt Lake Stadium. Gokulam Kerala had 23 points from 13 matches.
