Real Kashmir FC rode on Mason Robertson's brace to beat local giant Mohun Bagan 2-1 and stay in contention for the title in the I-League on Sunday.
Real Kashmir, which had secured a 1-1 draw against East Bengal last Sunday, continued its unbeaten run by recording another memorable performance at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan here. The Kashmir outfit gathered 21 points from 11 matches to take the third spot.
Forward Sony Norde's return boosted Bagan. Norde combined well with two other foreigners, Omar Elhusseiny and Henry Kisekka, to put pressure on the visiting side right from the start.
However, it was Real Kashmir which grabbed the lead after wasting a couple of set-pieces. The ploy to depute Robertson up in the field worked as he found the target off a Surchandra Singh pass from the right in the 33rd minute.
Bagan replied by scoring the equaliser through Norde's free-kick in less than 10 minutes.
The host created several chances, including Norde's superb dead-ball attempt in the 70th minute, but missed the mark.

Real Kashmir maintained its composure amidst the Bagan attacks and waited for the right opportunity. Robertson put a Kofi Tetteh through ball into the net to score the winner in the 73rd minute.
Bagan's efforts to draw parity again did not fetch the desired result. Another free-kick from Norde went over the bar in injury time and ended the home team's challenge.
The result: Real Kashmir 2 (Robertson 33, 73) bt Mohun Bagan 1 (Norde 42)
