FC Pune City lost its third game 1-3 against Dempo SC in the AWES Cuphereat Tilak Maidan on Sunday. The first half was balanced with both sides holding the fort in their halves. Both clubs had no clear chance on the goal and the first half ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

The second half was action-packed and constant pressure from Dempo paid dividends with the side going 3-0 up in a span of just 12 minutes.

The first goal was by Mario Mascarenhas in the 56th minute, while six minutes later, Jessel Carneiro doubled Dempos’ lead in the 62nd minute.

Latesh Madrekar made it 3-0 for Dempo in the 68th minute. FC Pune City pulled back one in the 77th minute via Jakob Vanlalhlimpuia and the match ended with a 3-1 scoreline in favour of Dempo.
