Bengaluru FC (BFC) will play North Korean side April 25th Sports Club in its first knockout round of AFC Cup 2017.

The Blues were drawn against the April 25th, also known as 4.25, in a draw on Tuesday. The two will meet in the AFC Cup's Inter Zone Play-off Semi-finals to be played over two legs on 23rd August and 13th September.

April 25th Sports Club is a powerful team in North Korea and was founded on April 25 - the military foundation day. The side has more than 10 wins in the DPR Korea League Cup and reached the AFC Champions League (the Asian Club Championship) semifinals in 1990-91.

Bengaluru FC is the 2016 AFC Cup runner-up and will be hoping to go one better this time under new coach Albert Roca. The winner of the two legged encounter against April 25th will progress to the Inter-Zone play-off final.
