Chennai City FC announced the signing of two foreign players on Saturday, in a bid to strengthen its squad for the upcoming I-league season.

The new arrivals include midfielder Baafi Jackson from Ghana and Nigeria forward Michael Lucky Kelechukwu, on a one-year contract.

Kelechukwu had a remarkable last season for Viva Chennai in the CFA senior division league - which saw him score against all the teams in the league - and emerge as the top-scorer of the league.  He has also played for Guwahati based side, Green Valley FC.

Jackson - who earlier played in Kolkata and also for Chennai City FC - has been re-signed after a one-year gap.
