I-League: Foreign player quota raised to six

Out of the six foreign players registered, at least two have to be from an AFC member Association.

The AIFF Executive Committee on Monday finalized the number of foreign players each squad can play in the upcoming Hero I-League 2017-18.

The clubs will be allowed to register six foreign players out of which at least two have to be from an AFC member Association. They can field maximum five foreign players in a match out of which minimum one has to be from an AFC Member Association.

The I-League and ISL will run simultaneously in the 2017-18 season.
