Indian Super League club ATK has roped in Croatian-born Australian footballer Dario Vidosic for the upcoming season.

Vidosic plays as an attacking midfielder, who also doubles up as a winger. He has played in Australia's A-League and Germany's Bundesliga, and made his national team debut in 2009.

“I am happy to have signed for ATK. This will be exciting and a new experience for me. I am hoping that I can help ATK lift the Cup again,” he said after putting pen to paper.

ATK coach Antonio Habas felt Vidosic's arrival will bolster ATK's midfield: “Dario is an experienced campaigner and a wonderful addition to the team. I am looking forward to working with him and create a strong attacking midfield that will support the strikers ably.”

Interestingly, Vidosic had visited India with Melbourne City FC in July last year to play the Toyota Yaris La Liga World pre-season friendly tournament, where played against ISL side Kerala Blasters and La Liga side Girona FC in Kochi.
