Indian national team 'keeper Subrata Pal has failed a dope test conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) as he now faces the prospect of being suspended.
Reports indicate that the drug testing agency informed the AIFF that the player had tested positive. Various reports indicate it is an anabolic steroid but there is no official confirmation yet.
Pal was tested a day before the Indian team left for Cambodia for its friendly match in preparation for its AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Myanmar.
