Jamshedpur FC has signed in the South African winger Sameehg Doutie for the upcoming Indian Super League season.

The news was tweeted by Jamshedpur FC and the player himself on Tuesday. “I am privileged to be a part of the part of the #MenOfSteel,” tweeted Doutie, who was a big influence in helping Ateltico Kolkata win the title last season.

Doutie was the second foreigner in the side after Jamshedpur FC picked up another prominent international name - the Spanish defender Jose Luis Espinosa (Tiri) – from the defending champion barely a week ago. Tiri welcomed his former teammate while hoping to have a good season together.

Coached by Steve Coppell, Jamshedpur FC is using the experience of the veteran English manager to net the international recruits after having picked up the Indian squad from the recently held Players Draft.
