East Bengal registered a 3-1 pre-season victory over new ISL entrant Jamshedpur FC at the TATA Football Academy (TFA) ground in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

The Red and Gold’s Mahmoud Al Amna and Surabuddin Mullick scored either side of an own goal from JFC’s Yumnan Raju. Izu Azuka was the lone goal-scorer for the home side.

This was Khalid Jamil managed outfit’s second consecutive win in pres-season having defeated FC Goa 2-1 in a friendly last week. It also lost 3-1 and 2-1 to Bengaluru FC and Pune City FC last month.

Jamshedpur, managed by former Manchester United footballer Steve Coppell, kick-off its ISL campaign against NorthEast United FC on November 18 in Guwahati.
