The winning coach of the evening, Kerala Blasters' Kibu Vicuna : "I am very happy with result. It was a very difficult game for us. We played 20 minutes with one man less and we saw character from the player. I am very happy for the supporters and the players."
[If this is his best starting XI] "We have different possibilities. Tonight we thought that it was the best line up we can show with Gary and Jordan up front and two lines of 4. It was a good result. We will see if we can use the same players and formation in the next game."
[On the pressure he faces as a coach] "You know that all coaches have pressure. I did not feel any special pressure. What I felt is sadness because we lost against Odisha and we played a bad game. After the game we were concentrated only on preparing for this game."
[On the upcoming game against SC East Bengal]: "SC East Bengal, in the last matches, are getting better results than the beginning. They have also different players, so it's going to be a different game from the first game we played a few weeks ago. It's a good team and we are going to analyse properly and prepare to the best of our abilities as always."
Jamshedpur FC coach Owen Coyle : "I am angry, frustrates and disappointed. I thought we started well. I told the boys we cannot gift the goals we did tonight. Kerala Blasters has wonderful players and when you gift the such chances....they were down to 10 men and got two goals and fought and scratched for every point and we got to give them credit. We need to get a lot better. The goals we gave away were due to individual errors and that's not like us. We have to pick ourselves up and get going again."
[On the next step] "It's not somewhere we have not been before. We lost the first game. FC Goa is next our next opponent and we will get ready for that, we will analyse and work on it. We need to pick ourselves up, understand our mistakes and learn from it, that's what we need to do. There were bits of the game that was good, but there were also bits that we need to improve on."
Kerala Blasters' match-winner Jordan Murray : "What a game! I got to give credit to the team. We are down to 10 men and did well to win the match. Getting the three points was the main thing. I don't think the game was completely pretty but we will take the three points now. I got two poachers goals and could have had another two in the first half. As a striker you have to be in those positions and I was lucky to be there. [Top four chances] That's always on the back of our mind. But we will take it game by game. These three points will give us a lots of confidence team.
Jamshedpur FC's leading goal-scorer Nerijus Valskis : "We are disappointed today because we lost three pts. We gave them a Christmas gift by conceding those three cheap goals. It cost us the three points."
[On playing after 12 days off] "It was difficult to start playing after this long period. For us, today was bad luck. We had lots of chances and hit the post three times. We gave them cheap goals and when you concede three goals like that you cannot win."
[On his role at Jamshedpur and if he would like more service] "You need to adapt to the players you have in your team. Yeah, I want to play a different style but I cannot be everywhere on the pitch. Sometimes I am very frustrated on the pitch but I always want my self to be correct in each moment and that's what I expect from all the players as well."

Kerala Blasters, reduced to 10 men for nearly half an hour, puts up a resilient display to beat Jamshedpur FC 3-2 and earn its second win of ISL 2020-21. The win sees the Blasters move to the 10th spot, while Jamshedpur remains fifth.
Costa Nhamoinesu scored the opener and Jordan Murray struck a second half brace for Kibu Vicuna's side. Nerijus Valskis scored twice for Jamshedpur but it wasn't enough as the Red Miners slipped to their third defeat of the season.

84' VALSKIS SCORES! Mobashir floats a delicious cross and Valskis heads from close range to reduce the deficit to one goal.
82' MURRAY MAKES IT 3-1! A horrendous error from Rehenesh sees Murray score what could perhaps be the easiest goal of his career! Pereyra threads a through ball to Murray but Rehenesh races off his line to collect it. His collection is poor as he ends up padding the ball for Murray and the Blasters forward nets his second goal of the evening!
80' That will be a huge sigh of relief for Murray. The Aussie had three clear chances early on and has finally made amends.
79' MURRAY SCORES TO GIVE BLASTERS THE LEAD! Pereyra makes an unchallenged run into the box and has a go at goal. Rehenesh manages to save it, but his block lands kindly in the path of Murray who makes no mistake from three yards out.
75' Owen Coyle makes a change as William Lalnufela comes on for Aniket.
73' First change of the evening. Hooper's poor outing comes to an end as he is replaced by Rohit Kumar.

This is really unbecoming of Vicuna now. He has another go at the fourth official and is shown a yellow card. The pressure clearly seems to be getting to the Spanish coach.

67' RED CARD! Lalruatthara catches Jackichand in the abdomen and is gets his second yellow card of the game.
65' Jackichaaaaaaaand! How close was that!?! He nearly scores his first goal of the season as his curling left-footed strike clatters the crossbar and then bounces off the upright.
63' Excellent work from Ricky. Sahal plays a delightful through ball for Pereyra, but Ricky uses his body really well to knock it away for a corner.
61' Vicente is a tad over-zealous as he lets one rip from 40 yards out, but its nowhere near the target.
58' Murray has a go and Hooper has a go, but neither can find the target! Pereyra does well to receive the ball in midfield and release Hooper down the left. The Englishman cuts it for Murray, who is cramped for space and manages to get a shot off that is deflected by a defender.
55' Hooper anticipates Costa's run and threads a neat lob on the right, but the latter can't get there on time.
52' Off the post, again! Mobashir has a go from close range and and clatters the outside of the post.
48' That's poor from Lalruatthara as he goes into the ref's book for a challenge on Monroy. Valskis seemed keen on the free-kick, but the referee chose to wave play on instead.

And the second half gets underway.
Kerala Blasters dominated the opening quarter of play and went ahead in the 22nd minute when Costa Nhamoinesu nodded in Facundo Pereyra's corner. Chasing a deficit, Jamshedpur went on an attacking spree and drew level through Nerijus Valskis' free-kick in the 36th minute.
Blasters had the majority of chances but have wasted them, with Murray missing two clear cut opportunities to score.

45+2' How was Murray missed that!?! Hooper does extremely well to curl in a peach of a cross and Murray, completely unmarked, has the goal at his mercy. Disappointingly, he fails to score as Rehenesh produces a brilliant save to thwart away his header.
43' An assistant coach on the Blasters bench has been booked for remonstration. Vicuna, too, has been giving the fourth official a earful and is lucky to have escaped a sanction thus far.
41' It's all Jamshedpur FC now as the Red Miners pile on the attacks now. Blasters forced to sit back and be content to defend now.
38' What a fine comeback this is from Valskis. The 33-year-old has struck his first goal in four games and has also scored the first direct free-kick of ISL 2020-21!
36' VALSKIS EQUALISES FOR JAMSHEDPUR! Lalruatthara brings Lima down in the edge of the box and Valskis steps up to take it. The Lithuanian take a three-step run up and coolly curls it into the top corner to bring his side back to level terms. That's his seventh goal of the season!
34' Hooper and Murray have combined well today, but here's a stat they would not be too happy with - The last time the two played together, Blasters lost 4-2 to Bengaluru.
31' Mobashir drills a low shot that is parried away for a corner by Albino. Jamshedpur is upping the ante here. The goal seems to have served as a wake up call and Coyle's men are now making repeated forays into the final third.
28' Eze nearly scores his fourth goal! He rises the highest in the box and meets the corner well, but fails to direct his header on target.
26' Blasters have called the shots so far here. Vicuna's men have seen more of the ball and have shown a lot more attacking intent than the Red Miners.
24' Albino pulls off a blinder to deny Valskis' bullet header. Valskis meets Monroy's corner with a powerful header and Albino shows great awareness to block the attempt.
22' GOAAAAAAAAAAAAL! COSTA PUTS KERALA BLASTERS AHEAD. Pereyra curls a free-kick into the box and Costa gets past his marker, Eze, to nod the ball into the net! Woeful defending from Jamshedpur and a terrific finish from Costa.
20' Pereyra floats his left-footed corner to an unmarked Costa at the far post, but the header fails to trouble the 'keeper.
19' Brilliant team-work from Kerala Blasters as a swift exchange of passes sees the side win another corner. Pereyra to take it.
16' Another changes goes begging! It's Hooper who misses this time. Hartley make a rare error and Murray latches on to it and races down the right. He crosses it for Hooper in the box, but the latter's positioning lets him down.
15' Promising few minutes for the Blasters. Hooper has looked in great touch, while Pereyra has also made a fine start.
12' What a poor finish from Murray! Hooper does oh-so-very-well to play Murray into a 1v1 position but the Australian blazes his shot off target. The number 9 ought to have done better there.
11' Aniket vs Sahal and the Jamshedpur forward wins the battle this time around.
8' Free-kick from a dangerous position for Jamshedpur. Aniket is brought down at the edge of the box by Lalruatthara and Monroy will be expected to whip one in.
6' Excellent play from Jeakson. The youngster beats three defenders before releasing Murray down the right. The Australian floats a cross in for Sahal but Mobashir tracks back in time to clear it for a corner.

Off the post! Valskis does extremely well to slip Mobashir into the box and he fires a low cross. Aniket is at the end of it and connects well but his shot strikes the post. Strong start for Jamshedpur!

Kibu Vicuna's faltering Kerala Blasters FC will be looking for redemption when it takes on Owen Coyle's Jamshedpur FC in a 2020-21 Indian Super League game at Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco da Gama on Sunday.
Fifth-placed Jamshedpur, with 13 points from nine matches, needs a win to make it back to the top-four this season, while Vicuna might have his job on the line due to Kerala's miserable run of form, claiming just one victory so far.
But the KBFC head coach, whose side was beaten 2-4 by another struggling side Odisha FC on Thursday, feels his squad has what it takes to bounce back quickly.
“It was a difficult night. Since that match (against OFC), we have been preparing well. We trained yesterday, and we're going to train today. In football, you have to bounce back, show personality that you're a good team,” Vicuna told during the pre-match press conference.
The Blasters have conceded the most goals -- 17 -- among the 11 teams in the ongoing ISL edition. Vicuna's style of play has often been criticised, mainly because of its vulnerability during counter-attacks. However, the former Mohun Bagan boss asserted that he has always chosen strategies based on the opponent.
“It's not a question of style. The teams are different, and the players are different. We're making changes, and not playing the same style from the start. We're trying to improve and correct (the mistakes) with the team we have. I'm sure that this team can get good results. It's not a question of being stubborn with a style," said the 2019-20 I-League winner.
Meanwhile, JFC manager Coyle believes Kerala has been extremely unlucky in the 2020-21 ISL when it comes to individual errors and finishing chances.
“If you look at Kerala's games, they have been very unlucky. In their last game, they lost 4-2 but they could have scored five or six goals. Against Mumbai City FC, they put themselves two-nothing down because of individual errors but they could have again scored two or three.

“When teams have disappointing results, they can be dangerous. They have some wonderful players. I think it will be a difficult game and we have to make sure that we bring the same work ethic that we brought in the first nine games,” he added.
Coyle also claimed that there's a possibility that he might look into the transfer market in January and recruit Indian players if they can strengthen his current squad. “When you look to get new players, I always suggest that you get those better than you already have. It has to be domestic players because we have a full quota of foreigners. If there's a young player who can enhance what we're doing at Jamshedpur now, I think we would be interested," he concluded.
New foreign signing Juande is expected to miss KBFC's next game, and Jamshedpur full-back Laldinliana Renthlei is a major doubt for the clash as well.
5:30 pm: Jamshedpur FC will look for a win that will catapult it to the third spot when it takes on Kerala Blasters at the Tilak Maidan Stadium today.

The seventh edition of the Indian Super League got underway inside a bio-bubble in Goa on November 20.
The tournament, spanning over four months, will see 11 teams play each other in a league and playoff format across three venues. Following the inclusion of SC East Bengal, this season will feature 115 games, up from 95 last season.
