Owen Coyle "I didnt need a second half talk because we had a good first half. Outstanding from first to final whistle and we deserved 3 points. [Farukh's addition] I have admired him from last year and he adds pace alongside Len and Boris. They are going to become better. His attitide and workrate were excellent. We were unfortunate many times this season like other night when we didnt deserve to lose vs ATKMB. That Lima goal [vs Goa] when it wasn't given vs Goa should have meant we could have been ahead of Goa. Its unfortunate and we should be ready to finish season stronger."
Sergio Lobera "I think maybe it wasnt a good game considering the moment of the season. We don't depend on our results now for the first time and I am very dispaoointed because we played very bad. [f Ogbeche could have been introduced earlier] I dont think so and we need to be loyal in our style of play. This is not the way [long balls] and in first half we didnt get passes right. We played a strong defensive team. Finally, we need to think about this and analyse our mistakes. We need to wait for Mohun Bagan's game. Maybe I coud have made sub earlier and I need to take responsibility as the coach. Obviously when you concede goals and dont have right balance in defence and attack. We create lot of chances vs Bengalur8 but today we didnt have that. We concede many chances to opposition. Today, our worst game so far because we didnt create many chances. [Boumous] Obviously you know his level. I miss one player and I can't use that as excuse. I have very good squad."
Jamshedpur moves into sixth and is three points of a playoff place with a game left. Mumbai is dealt a huge blow in its bid to win the League Winner's shield. It must now hope ATK Mohun Bagan loses to Hyderabad FC on Monday. Mumbai has now won just once and has two draws and three defeats in its last 6 matches.

88' Jamshedpur with the ball inside Mumbai's half. Long ball and Farukh is through on goal but he can't get the connection right on his left footed shot. Amridner collects the ball.

Amrinder gets low to stop it but can't gather it and the ball breaks to Boris who tucks it past the 'keeper and into the net! The man who came to Jamshedpur from ATK Mohun Bagan might deliver the big blow for Mumbai in the title race.
71' Farukh releases Isaac down the left in space but the winger takes too many touches and that allows Mumbai to regroup and deny the danger. Ball is cleared behind for a corner.

Mumbai needs to win tonight to keep pace with ATK Mohun Bagan.
51' Isaac gets the ball on the left and he cuts inside and swings in a cross into Farukh, who chests it down and flicks it over Santana's head but he can't get away from the marker to get his shot away. There was an appeal for a penalty against Santana but referee says no.
47' Isaac into Valskis, who looks to play it into Farukh's feet but Santana makes a crucial interception.
46' Mumbai City gets the second period underway. MCFC SUB: Jacichand OFF, Bipin ON
SECOND HALF
Jamshedpur with a dominant performance by not letting Mumbai City not go about its usual business. Jamshedpur's high press has disrupted Mumbai's passing rhythm. Owen Coyle's men had the best chances with Farukh and Valskis on the end of them but they have failed to hit the target.
HALF-TIME
45'+2' Santana with a crucial interception as Doungel looked to get on the end of a lobbed ball over the defence.
Two minutes of added time.
41' Amrinder spills the ball as he rushes out to catch the ball and that allows Doungel to reach to the ball but he ends up tackling Santana. Freekick awarded and Mumbai can breath a sigh of relief.
40' Lima takes the ball down to the byline and hooks in a cross whwre three Mumbai defenders are around the bal and ends up pushing it behind for a corner.
38' That was the chance for Valskis! Isaac hooks in a cross into the middle of the box where Valskis leaps high but heads it over the bar.
34' Play stopped after Farukh goes down holding his left shoulder as he lost a challege against Rowllin.
33' Jahouh with a free-kick and Valskis ends up getting his head on it to take it behind for a corner.
30' The ball is kicked out of play and the referee calls for the water break.
25' Isaac swings in a ball to the far post for Valskis but time his jump to meet with his header.
22' Dinliana with a pickout from the right but Farukh, who is unmarked in the box, fails to connect his volley on target. He blasts it over the bar.
21' From a short corner, the ballis played to Jahouh, who swings in a cross into the box where the ball is ust over the head of Fall.
20' Mandar wins a corner down the left flank after a good build-up play by the side.
18' From a free-kick, the ball falls at the feet of Doungel, who volleys it wide.
14' Dinliana caught out at the back but Eze manages to stickout a leg before le Fondre to retrieve the ball.
13' Valskis looks to pickout Farukh's run but ends up overhitting the pass.
7' Monroy catches le Fondre with a late tackle but the referee says play on. Le Fondre isn't happy.
5' Jamshedpur is pushing Mumbai high up the pitch making it difficult for the players to play out from the back.

3' Another freekick from a similar position and Amrinder ounches it ahead of Eze but he clashes against Fall and goes down.
2' A rash tackle by Fall catches Valskis by the flanks. Foul against Mumbai. Monroy's inswinging free-kick is missed by Amrinder and the jumping Jamshdpur attackers. Luckily for Mumbai it sails behind for a goal-kick.

6:45 PM: There are two changes for Jamshedpur FC tonight! Head coach Owen Coyle has brought on Isaac Vanmalsawma and Nerijus Valskis to replace William Lalnunfela and David Grande in his latest lineup.
Meanwhile, there are two alterations for Mumbai City FC as well! Vignesh Dakshinamurthy and Bipin Singh have made way for Mandar Rao Dessai and Jackichand Singh in manager Sergio Lobera's playing XI.

The seventh edition of the Indian Super League got underway inside a bio-bubble in Goa on November 20.
The tournament, spanning over four months, will see 11 teams play each other in a league and playoff format across three venues. Following the inclusion of SC East Bengal, this season will feature 115 games, up from 95 last season.
MATCH PREVIEW:
Not so long ago, Mumbai City FC had a six-point lead over ATK Mohun Bagan in the 2020-21 Indian Super League standings after 13 games. Fast forward four matches, the Islanders have fallen two points behind the Mariners , with the league stage reaching its climax.
In such a must-win scenario, Sergio Lobera's men gear up to face seventh-placed Jamshedpur FC at Tilak Maidan in Vasco on Saturday. Meanwhile, Owen Coyle-managed Red Miners still have the rarest of mathematical possibilities to make the playoffs.
MCFC's final league outing against ATKMB could be a virtual title decider, with the victorious side claiming the ISL League Winners' Shield and an AFC Champions League spot for next year. In JFC's case, two big wins and a few defeats for teams above it on the table could propel it into the top-four.

Mumbai coach Lobera, whose outfit is coming off a 2-4 loss to Bengaluru FC, feels his players can overcome the upcoming challenge from a strong Jamshedpur squad.
"JFC are a strong team. It's hard to find space in their half. When you need to win, you need to work as a team. They're not about one player (Nerijus Valskis), and our focus is to play against a good team.
"Bengaluru and Jamshedpur are different teams. But the important thing is our actions on the field. We need to be loyal to our style and know that we're strong while sticking to it. During the game, bad situations can happen, but we need to be ready to react to those," the 44-year-old Spaniard told during the pre-match press conference.
MCFC had conceded only four goals in its opening 12 encounters but has now let in seven in its last two, including a 3-3 draw against FC Goa. Lobera stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between attack and defence.
"We need to work harder. We conceded four goals (vs BFC) which is a lot but had many chances to score. If we had converted those, we would've won. We need to work on this balance. It's impossible to win all games in a season. We've been unbeaten for 15 in a row. Maybe, it's a normal situation now. The results can change all the time, and we need to be careful with small details," he added.

On the other hand, his counterpart Coyle wants Jamshedpur to play the same way it did against ATK Mohun Bagan in its previous clash, despite a 0-1 defeat.
"We should approach this game the way we did against ATKMB. The lads were outstanding with their work rate and efforts, and we were causing them problems. In the second half, we were very comfortable, and their goalkeeper (Arindam Bhattacharja) came up with the save of the season, with not a lot of time left. Then, we were down with a sucker punch from Roy Krishna," the 54-year-old Scotsman claimed.
Coyle also said that he wants his club to fight hard for two more victories and reach 27 points to keep its outside chance of achieving playoff status alive.
"The players have to apply themselves and make sure that we finish our season strong. We need to get those six points and get to 27 in total, and then we will be fighting with three teams. There's a lot to play for, but we have to make sure we are professional, focussed and concentrated against a good side,” he concluded.
Mumbai City will be without the suspended French playmaker Hugo Boumous for its next match, while JFC has no injury or suspension concerns.
