ATK Mohun Bagan has roped in promising midfielder Liston Colaco ahead of the next Indian Super League (ISL) season on a record transfer fee that is the highest-ever for an Indian player.
The 22-year-old signed a two-year contract till 2023 on Saturday and will join the Mariners with effect from June 1.
Colaco, who had an impressive outing with Hyderabad FC in ISL 2020-21, caught the eye of the ATK Mohun Bagan coach Antonio Lopez Habas with his performance as a winger.

With the ISL regulations mandating a reduction in the number of foreign footballers to four in the playing XI from the upcoming season, Habas is looking to have a good combination of Indian players in the side.
Showing versatility as player who can play in both attacking and creative roles, Colaco made 23 appearances for Hyderabad FC where he scored four and assisted in three. This also secured him a call up to the national squad this year.
"It's a great honour for me. It feels great to know that I will play for Kolkata in the Green-Maroon jersey. A new chapter has begun in my football career. I will try my best," Colaco said after joining ATK Mohun Bagan.
