Chennaiyin FC and FC Goa will be looking to reach their second ISL final when they face-off at the Fatorda Stadium on Saturday. While there might not be much to choose between them, the two sides have shown totally different styles of play. Goa has always played some attacking football throughout the tournament and managed to score 42 goals, most by any team so far this year while Chennaiyin has been less prolific in terms of goals but been a strong defensive side.

Here, Sportstar looks at the probable starting line-ups for Chennaiyin and Goa for the first-leg.

FC Goa

Though he has had quite a poor season by his standards, Laxmikant Kattimani is likely to start in goal, with Mohamed Ali, Narayan Das, Seriton Fernandes, and Sergio Juste forming the defence line in front of him.

Edu Bedia and Pronay Halder are likely to be the two holding midfielders. Manuel Lanzarote, Mandar Rao Dessai and Brandon Fernandes might remain the three attacking midfielders.

League top-scorer Ferran Corominas, who has netted a staggering 18 goals so far, will play as the sole striker.

Chennaiyin FC

For the visitor, Karanjit Singh is likely to keep his position between the posts. Inigo Calderon, Keenan Almeida, Henrique Sereno, and Jerry Lalrinzuala are likely to start in a four-man backline.

Anirudh Thapa is likely to slot into midfield, potentially replacing Bikramjit Singh, with Dhanpal Ganesh likely retain his place. Raphael Augusto is likely to be the chief creator, with Gregory Nelson and Rene Mihelic flanking him.

Jeje Lalpekhlua is likely to be the focal point of the attack.
