Mumbai City FC fined for misconduct

A release from the Indian Super League said the "Mumbai club failed to control its players and officials which lead to scuffle after the final whistle of the Hero ISL 2016 2nd leg semi-final against Atletico de Kolkata at the Mumbai Football Arena on December 13."

Thiago Dos Santos Cunha (in blue jersey) has been suspended for four matches.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Disciplinary Committee has fined Mumbai City FC Rs. 5,00,000 for "team misconduct".

A release from the Indian Super League said the "Mumbai club failed to control its players and officials which lead to scuffle after the final whistle of the Hero ISL 2016 2nd leg semi-final against Atletico de Kolkata at the Mumbai Football Arena on December 13."

The AIFF Disciplinary Committee has also suspended a few players and a team official. Thiago Dos Santos Cunha has been suspended for four matches and fined Rs 3,00,000, Facundo Cardozo has been suspended for three matches. Team official Bhushan Tandel has been suspended for five matches and fined Rs. 2,00,000.

Atletico de Kolkata has been fined Rs. 7,00,000 for team misconduct and its player Juan Belencoso has been suspended for two matches and fined Rs. 3,00,000.
