Mumbai City FC have released a statement saying that they have decided to part ways with Assistant Coach, Oscar Bruzon with immediate effect, citing differences in football philosophy. The decision was mutual between the two parties.

“Honour means respecting my club, its players, the owners and the fans,” said Bruzon. “I am proud of what I have done for the club in the little time I’ve spent here and I know that the club feels the same way. I would like to conclude by saying that it’s been an absolute honour and matter of pride being part of the Mumbai City FC family.”

Having played his professional football in the Spanish second division, Bruzon worked with Sporting Clube de Goa in the I-League for a couple of years before signing with Mumbai City FC this season.
