Winning bids for new ISL teams to be revealed on June 12

The teams will play the tournament 2017-18 season onwards.

The new teams will debut in the 2017-18 season.

Winning bids for new teams to participate in the Indian Super League (ISL) will be announced on Monday (June 12), according to a communique by the organisers. These teams will be inducted in the 2017-18 ISL season, and will play the tournament henceforth.

The bidding process involved advertisement for this last month. The last date for the submission of bids was May 25. Bids were invited from interested parties from 10 cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cuttack, Durgapur, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Ranchi, Siliguri and Thiruvananthapuram.
