Newly-appointed head coach of Delhi Dynamos FC Gianluca Zambrotta on Friday met the club’s youth team at a training camp here.

The under-18 players, currently training for the Gothia Cup in Sweden later this month — spoke to Zambrotta and shared their experiences during the two-hour session. “I must say I am very impressed with the youth set-up. I have always believed in a strong junior level programme as I think it is the best way to go about developing a sport,” the 39-year old said.

He was accompanied by the club’s first-team players Anas Edathodika, Souvik Chakrabarti and Sanjiban Ghosh besides officials from the Indian Air Force. The youth players had been selected during the annual Subroto Cup organised by the IAF for schools.
