Indian Super League club Jamshedpur FC has appointed Antonio Irionda as its head coach for the 2019-20 season.
Irionda has managed various clubs in Spain, in the La Liga, Segunda Division and Segunda B, in a 27-year-long career.
The club has also appointed technical staff to assist Irionda. Victor Herrero Forcada will be the assistant coach. The goalkeeping coach will be Alfonso Lacasa Taberne, and the fitness coach will be Munoz Miguel Luis.

Irionda has managed 985 games in Spain. He started his career with Carabanchel in Segunda B, before switching to Rayo Majadahonda where he worked for four years. He managed Tercera Division B clubs, too, before being appointed head coach of Rayo Vallecano B in 2002.
He was promoted to Vellano's senior team later.
Irionda has also coached UD San Sebastian de Los Reyes, CD Toledo, San Fernando CD. In 2012, he began his second stint with Rayo Majadahonda, before ending his tenure in 2019.

Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Choudhari said, “In Antonio, we have appointed a very experienced head coach. His methodology and passionate approach along with his sense of values on and off the pitch make him the ideal person to take us forward.”
