The first derby between Barcelona and Real Madrid of this La Liga football season will take place on December 3 at 4:15 pm local time (7:45 pm IST) the Camp Nou, La Liga President Javier Tebas confirmed on Wednesday.

The Derby between Spain’s most widely supported teams is also known as El Clasico. Tebas explained that the time of the match has been chosen to be compatible with the viewing peaks of the Asian market, reports Efe.

The president also revealed two other options, including 1 pm local time which was discarded as it is too early for the American market, and 6:30 pm, which is too late for the Chinese market.

Tebas considered the chosen time to be suitable for viewers worldwide.
