Eden Hazard made his long-awaited Real Madrid debut in the 3-2 win over Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

A thigh injury suffered during pre-season had kept the Belgian forward out of action for his new club, while the injury also ruled him out of Belgium's Euro 2020 Qualifiers against Scotland and San Marino.

Real Madrid went 3-0 up in the first half with goals from Karim Benzema (2) and Casemiro, but it had a nervy finish after Levante, though goals from Borja Mayoral and Gonzalo Melero, reduced the deficit to one goal with 15 minutes to play.

The Madrid club next plays Paris Saint-Germain in its opening Champions League fixture on Wednesday.
