Lalrinzuala, Pradhan sign up for DSK Shivajians

DSK Shivajians have signed Mizoram’s Jerry Lalrinzuala, who was ISL 2016 Emerging Player, for the upcoming season of the I-League.

DSK Shivajians have signed Mizoram’s Jerry Lalrinzuala, who was ISL 2016 Emerging Player, for the upcoming season of the I-League. The defender was part of a select group of five sent to FC Metz’s Academy, in France, for a developmental stint. He represented India from the U-14 to U-19 levels and has made 13 first-team starts for Chennaiyin FC.

Sanju Pradhan is the another notable signing by the Pune-based club. A former captain with East Bengal, the winger was part of the triumphant Atletico de Kolkata squad.

DSK team manager Dave Rogers said: “Two years ago, I came across Jerry playing for the India U-16 and we tried to bring him to our LFC-DSK Academy. I knew then that this boy was going to be something special as his ability as a left-back.”
