Premier League sides Manchester United and Arsenal got to know who they will face in the group stage of the 2022/2023 Europa League tournament on Friday.

Premier League leaders Arsenal has been slotted in Group A alongside PSV Eindhoven, Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich.

Manchester United, the 2016/17 Europa League winners, is in Group E with Real Sociedad, Sheriff Tiraspol and Omonoia.

While teams like Real Sociedad and PSV Eindhoven are familiar names to Premier League fans, teams like Omonoia and Bodo might not be.

Bodo/Gilmt is a Norwegian side that qualified for the Europa League after it won its top flight League. Last season, the Norwegian side made the news after it beat Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma 6-1 in the Conference League group stage.

Omonoia is a Nicosia-based football team that plies its trade in the Cypriot first division. It has won 21 Cypriot Championships and secured its qualification for Europa after it beat Belgian side Gent in the qualifiers.
