Marotta is confident of extending the Argentina international's stay in Turin and expects news on the matter in February.

A new contract for Paulo Dybala will be announced "in a few weeks", according to Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta.

Dybala joined Juve from Palermo on a five-year deal in 2015 and his impressive performances have seen him linked with moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, Marotta is confident of extending the Argentina international's stay in Turin and expects news on the matter in February.

"We're talking with his people, I don't think there will be any problems. The announcement will probably be made in a few weeks," Marotta told Sky Sport Italia .

"Paulo is happy here and we're glad to have him with us, that's why there's every opportunity to move forward together."

Dybala refused to shake coach Massimiliano Allegri's hand after being substituted in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Sassuolo.

Allegri was unconcerned by the snub, and Marotta felt it was simply a sign of frustration at failing to find the net.

"It was a small and insignificant gesture, football is full of these things. We have to look at the whole context – he's an important player and a great professional," he told TMW Radio .

"We know his character, he wasn't being disrespectful to the coach, but showing his anger at the fact he couldn't get a goal. These things are very normal in football."
