Argentine forward Matias Defederico will strengthen the Mumbai City FC strikeforce for Indian Super League third season. He will making his debut in ISL this season and his signing comes on the heels of Haiti international Sony Norde retained by the Mumbai franchise.
MCFC’s newly-appointed head coach, Alexandre Guimaraes, said: “Defederico possesses immense skill and talent. He has played at some of the most challenging leagues in the world. We are confident that he will be a huge asset to the side.”

According to MCFC, the 26-year-old made his professional debut for Argentine side Club Atlético Huracán, then moved to Brazilian side Corinthians. Matias scored a goal on international debut for Argentina, besides. stints in the UAE, Turkey and Chile.
