NorthEast United welcomes Emiliano and Florentino

NorthEast United FC has roped in Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro and Brazilian attacking midfielder Fabio Neves Florentino to complete its player roster ahead of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).

NorthEast United FC has roped in Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro and Brazilian attacking midfielder Fabio Neves Florentino to complete its player roster ahead of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).

Sharing his thoughts on the new recruits, John Abraham, Owner, NEUFC said, “We are delighted to welcome the players to NEUTD. Both Emiliano Alfaro and Fabio Neves, are experienced players who have played the game at the highest level and we look forward to them playing key roles this season.”

Speaking at the appointment, Ardeshir Jeejeebhoy, Director of Football for NEUFC said, “The new players join us at an opportune time, since we are making the final additions to the squad. Their commitment and professional approach to the game will surely instill strong belief and confidence in our squad this season.”

At the national level, Alfaro represented Uruguay at the U-17, U-20 and Sr National team. He has been a resounding success at the club level having played in leagues in Uruguay, Argentina, Italy and the UAE.

The Brazilian Fabio Neves, is an attacking midfielder, who has played in leading clubs in Brazil and South Korea.
