Ederson's assist a first for City in Premier League

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson assisted the first goal against Huddersfield Town that came at the 25th minute.

Manchester City fans were treated to something spectacular as goalkeeper Ederson assisted the side's opener against Huddersfield Town on Sunday .

The 25th minute beauty from Aguero would not have been possible without the assist of the 24-year-old who moved to City from Benfica last year on a five-year contract.

Ederson took matters into his own hands as Huddersfield restricted itself to its own box. The goalkeeper shot a 86-yard pass to the Argentine striker who successfully found the back of the nets.

With this, Ederson becomes the first goalkeeper to record an assist in the Premier League since Jonas Lössl for Huddersfield last season against Manchester United.

Also, the Brazilian glovesman becomes the first Manchester City goalkeeper to assist a Premier League goal.
