Indian national football coach Stephen Constantine announced a list of 32 probables for a preparatory camp in Mumbai ahead of India’s upcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifier match against Kyrgyz Republic. The tie is scheduled to be played at the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek on March 27.
India is undefeated in the group stage and tops Group A with 13 points from five games, including four wins. The other three teams in the group are Krygyz Republic, Myanmar and Macau.
The list of 32 players includes only four players from the I-League, while the other 28 have been involved in the Indian Super League this season.
Among the notable names missing from the probables are Indian captain Sunil Chhetri and veteran goalkeeper Subrata Paul. Chhetri will miss the tie as he is serving a one-match suspension for picking up two yellow cards.
