Hello and welcome highlights of the Serie A match between Juventus and Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

In the end, it's finished Juventus 2-0 Sampdoria.

That's all for today. Thank you so much for joining us. Until next time, it's goodbye. CIAO!

JUVENTUS IS THE 2019-20 SERIE A CHAMPION!!

A ninth consecutive league title is sealed courtest goals from Ronaldo and Bernardeschi on the night. Immobile still leads the top-scorers chart with 34 as Ronaldo is at 31.

It was a rocky season, no where near perfect but it's all well that ends well.

Maurizio Sarri becomes the oldest manager to win the league.

90+3' THE REFREE BLOWS THE FINAL WHISTLE AND JUVE HAS DONE IT! JUVENTUS IS THE KING OF SERIE A

90+2' CLEARED OFF THE LINE T he outswinger is well-headed by Rabiot. Audero makes the save but spills it. Ronaldo can't get to the rebound on time but Bonucci has sight of an open goal. He shoots but it's saved off the line by Yoshida!!

THREE minutes have been added on.

90' Late corner for Juve!

89' RONALDO MISSES THE PENALTY!!!!!! OH, THIS MIGHT BE CIRO'S YEAR! Ronaldo goes hard and straight. But the shot is a little too hard as it ricochet's off the cross-bar!! No number 32 yet for Ronaldo.

88' PENALTY FOR JUVENTUS AND YELLW FOR DEPAOLI! Alex Sandro runs past Depaoli before cutting in. The defender brings him down with a sliding tackle from behind.

87' ANOTHER CHANCE GONE BEGGING! How any chances does Samp need tonight? The team has been so wasteful. Gabbiadini, with free header across the face of goal, heads wide.

86' YELLOW FOR RABIOT! Rabiot brings down Linetty and then kicks the ball out in frustration. He is also booked.

83' RAMIREZ WIDE! Gabbiadini's delivery from the corner post finds Ramirez, who fails to keep the header on target.

80' DEJAVUUU!!! WELL ALMOST! Samp follows the same routine as Juve did in the first half. Quickly-taken free-kick, a flat pass to a man in the box who tries to guide into the back of the next. Except this time, Quagliarella's attempt is deflected for a corner. But nothing comes off it.

Juventus is 10 minutes (plus stoppage time) away from officially being named champion of the 2019/20 Serie A title.

79' YELLOW CARD! Cuadrado is shown the yellow for a late sliding tackle from behind on Leris. Free-kick to Samp near the left byline.

De Ligt limps out and looks like it's cramps.

78' SUBSTITUTION FOR JUVENTUS: Bentacur, Rugani-IN| Pjanic, De Ligt- OUT

77' RED CARD! THROSBY HAS BEEN GIVEB THE MARCHING ORDER! He loses the ball with a poor first touch and he goes to win the ball with a lunge. He is late, brings down Pjanic. A second yellow for him and he's off/

76' BLOCKED! Great block from De Ligt. Depaoli receives a great pass inside the box and looks to cut it back to Gabbiadini, but De Ligt throws himself in the path of the pass to clear it out of harm's way.

73' Substitution for Sampdoria: Gabbiadini-IN| Jankto-OUT

72' Cooling break for this half is taken.

71' BRILLIANT SAVE! Szczesny with a brave save. Leris whips the ball in with pace from the right flank and Quagliarella has a free header. But he hits it straight to the 'keeper, who had to react quickly.

Is that the title? Is this it?

67' GOOOOOOALLLLLLL!!! Bernardeschi scores his first goal after a year! Juve on the counter, is led by Higuain. He plays it left to Ronaldo, who shoots at goal. Audero does well to get down on time and make the save but he spills it and the rebound falls kindly to Bernardeschi. The Juve no.33 completes the formality with an easy tap-in to double the lead.

66' YELLOW FOR JANKTO! Excessive shirt pulling on Cuadrado and the refree shows him the card.

61' SAVED BY AUDERO! Rabiot has lit up the the Juve attack tonight. Once again, steals possession and darts down the centre. He could have gone on his own but instead, he threads it to Ronaldo on his right. The Portugal striker is too far right inside the box but still decides to go for goal. Audero covers the angle and makes the save. Nothing comes off the corner.

Attractive football from Samp but the team needs to score or else Juve will make them pay. Against a team like the Old Lady, you've got to take every chance up for grab. And so far, Samp has scuffed a few easy chances.

56' SAVE! Szczesny pouches the ball easily as Ramirez, six yards out, heads the ball straight to the Juve keeper.

54' JUST WIDE!! Sampdoria continues to come closer and closer. The corner is swung to the centre of the box, six yards out and somehow, Tonelli fails to finds the target off the header. Juve seems to have switched off. Are we in for another upset or is it too soon to tell?

53' FREE-KICK FOR SAMPDORIA AND THE VISITOR ALMOST SCORE!! Gaston puts in a stinging delivery into the box and Yoshida fails to get at the end of on time. The ball is heading goalwards before being punched out nervously by Szcezesny.

51' SAMP COMES CLOSE! Leris flicks the ball in front of goal, but hits it just wide off the post. The equaliser was not far away.

50' MISSSEED!!! BOTH RONALDO AND HIGUAIN involved. Pjanic floats the dead ball into the box with perfection. The ball misses the head of Ronaldo before bouncing past Higuain, who tried to score with a volley right across the face of goal.

49' FOUL! Ronaldo is brought down and it's a free-kick for Juve. Pjanic will take it.

46' Juventus sets the ball rolling again!

SECOND HALF BEGINS!!

================

Juventus takes a giant step towards sealing a ninth consecutive Scudetto with the Ronaldo goal. It came in the 52nd minutes, at the end of a half filled with injuries and forced substitutions. But this game is far from over. Not only because Sampdoria has played really well and created chances but also because Juventus has been prone to blowing up its lead. Exciting second half awaits.

They huffed and puffed but right at the end, literally with the last kick of the half, Ronaldo and Pjanic combined to take the home side ahead.

45+2' GOOOOALLLL!! RONALLOODOOOOOO FIRES HOME AND WHAT A SMART GOAL!! Pjanic, instead of going for goal, from the edge of the box, plays a quick, grounded passto Ronaldo on his left, who beats Audero to the left post with a first-time shot. Firmly hit.

45+5' FREE-KICK! Yellow card for Tonelli after he tugs back Rabiot. Pjanic stands over it.

45+4' OVER! To everyone's surprise, Bernardeschi takes the spot-kick but curls it over the fram of goal.

45+2' FREE-KICK JUST OUTSIDE THE BOX! Rabiot, at the cusp of the box after being stopped in his tracks by Thorsby. Angle isn't great for Either Ronaldo or Pjanic but the distance will entice Ronaldo, who is waiting over th dead ball.

SIX MINUTES have been added to the first half.

44' SAVED! Crucial save from Audero. Pjanic steals the ball in the left wing and runs parallel to the edge of the box before setting up Ronaldo. The striker is in limited space but maanges to squirt pass to Bernardeschi. The first-time shot by Federico is kept out by the 'keeper.

41' RONNALLDOO, OVER! The vicious right boot of Ronaldo, who makes a run along the edge of the box from the left flank, fails to cause any damage as the ball flies over goal.

Problems in the left thigh for Dybala and this strange half continues to gather causalties.

40'  Substitution for Juventus: Higuain-IN| Dybala-OUT

38' BLAZES OVER! After Dybala dummies and leaves a cross at the edge of the box, the ball rolls to the incoming Cuadrado. He shoots but wayward.

38' ANOTHER SAVE! Quagliarella scuffs another chance. Jankto does well in the left flank to beat Cuadrado with the tackle cuts it back to Quagliarella, who fails to connect the shot and the Juve Keeper does the needful.

35' SAVE!! Quagliarella goes from distance, looking to beat the keeper to the near, left post. But Szczesny is up to the task and makes a rather comfortable save.

34' DRAGGED WIDE! Substitute Bernardeschi chests to bring a deflected ball down outside the box, turns to his left and shoots a volley off his left foot. But the connection is missing as the ball rolls wide off goal for a Sampdoria goal kick.

Juventus still seaeching for the opening goal as Ranieri's Sampdori has done well to give a very good fight.

30' Substitution for Juventus: Bernardeschi-IN| Danilo-OUT

30' The play resumes as Danilo is taken to the sidlines for further treatment. And he is eventually replaced. The doctors aren't taking any chances.

Sampdoria has done well so far. It's not hanging around and staying back but constantly making advances up front.

26' The cooling break has been taken.

25' OUCH!! Ramirez and Danilo's heads clash, in full force, while attempting to win a header inside the box. Coming to the play, Linetty frees up Quagliarella on the left flank. The latter puts in a delightful cross on the square before the heads collide.

22' Substitution for Sampdoria and it's a forced one. Mehdi Leris-IN| Chabot-OUT

22' CORNER! Cuadrado curls the ball into the box for Ronaldo, but there's too much height and it's nudged away for a corner by the Sampdoria defender. Nothing comes off it.

20' FOUL INSIDE THE BOX!  A peach of a chip from the centre by Pjanic to Matuidi on the left. The winger squares it to Ronaldo, who gets a header on target but is pulled up for a foul on Chabot. But the airtime Ronaldo gained though!!

18' OFF-SIDE! A lofted through, seeking Ronaldo, fails to deliver as the striker is off-side.

15' CORNER FOR SAMPDORIA! And it's a cheap one. De Ligt's backpass to his keeper is a wayward one and La Samp has a chance. But nothing comes off it.

10' SCUFFED BY JUVE!! Rabiot intercepts a loose pass near the half line and charges down the centre. He has Ronaldo for support on his right but he plays a poor pass to the Juve no.7, who is forced into a hurried shot. Julian Chabot blocks the shot but takes a blow to his shin during Ronaldo's attempt.

6' GOOD PLAY! Dybala finds a charging Matuidi with a pin-point lob into the box and the former does well to pull it back to Ronaldo. However, the striker slips and fails to collect the pass. Matuidi did very well to stretch his leg out and still keep the ball in play.

4' SAVE! Glorious chance missed by Gaston Ramirez. Augello, from the left wing, puts in a timely cross into the box and Ramirez is unmarked. However, his weak header fails to trouble Szczesny, who pouches the ball with ease.

2' DENIED! Tonelli tracks back with lightning quick pace and denies Ronaldo a shot on goal. The Portugal striker is played inside the box and before he can take a shot, Tonelli disposses him.

A lot of work for Ronaldo to do if he is to catch-up with Immobile for the top-scorers trophy. Immobile has scored a hat-trick against Verona today and now has 34 goals. Ronaldo, still at 30.

1' Sampdoria gets us underway!

MATCH PREVIEW:

The current season has been the most difficult in Italian football history, Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri said on Saturday as he tried to explain the Serie A leader's inconsistent form over the last month.

Although it has a five-point advantage with three games to play, Juve has only won once in its last five matches and has kept its lead because rival Inter Milan and Lazio have also slumped.

Serie A is being completed in a hectic six weeks after a three-month novel coronavirus stoppage and teams are having to cope with high temperatures, late finishes and empty stadiums.

"What mark would I give Juventus so far? A good one because this is the most difficult championship in the history of Italian football," Sarri told reporters ahead of Sunday's match at home to Sampdoria.

"In the light of the obvious difficulties, I think the team has performed well.... This is an atypical phase. It's never happened before that we've played the championship in July."

Juventus will clinch the title if it wins on Sunday, having missed a first chance to wrap it up on Thursday when it lost 2-1 to a stoppage-time goal at Udinese.

However, Sarri was pleased with the team's attitude.

"We lost our shape and organisation in Udine but the positive thing is that it happened because we were trying so hard to win," he said. "I prefer to lose because of that than for being too passive, which has also happened a few times."

Sarri said there was little time to prepare for games.

"We are not doing any kind of preparation because, playing every 72 hours, it's not possible. We'll prepare for tomorrow's game in 30 or 40 minutes tomorrow morning," he added.

"Clearing you head after a game and then recharging for the next one in a few days is not simple and does not always come automatically."
