HIGHLIGHTS

FINAL SCORE: Sassuolo 3-3 Juventus

FULL-TIME: Juventus' ninth-straight Scudetto is still some distance away as the side continues to rather limp towards the finishing line.

Sassuolo can be proud that it has come to recover from a position at which most sides tend to wilt away. The side is on a seven-match unbeaten run now.

90 + 4' Consigli calmly collects the ball as Ronaldo tries to lurk into the box on the right to get his head onto the long ball down from the other flank.

90' Five minutes of stoppage time to go, ladies and gents.

89' Muldur's searching cross for Ferrari has been intercepted by Alex Sandro.

85' SUBSTITUTION: Raspadori on for Boga. Ferrari walks in too.

84' TRAAOREEEE... Oh god no! Almost a fourth one for Sassuolo there. Caputo calmly places the ball in the path of Traore who goes hard but finds Szczesny. Boga finds the ball on the rebound but he misses too as Alex Sandro clears it to safety.

81' Ronaldo goes down and his appeal for a free-kick doesn't interest the ref.

80' YELLOW CARD: Bonucci, who has been limbering for some time now, has been booked for arguing with a player from the touchline.

78' Well, I am not sure who Dybala was looking out for with that shot. He is quick on his feet, he looks confident but he misses the goal by miles.

77' A good save from Consigli as Ronaldo's dry spell continues tonight. He is not having a good day, is he? Sends in a piercing drive but the Sassuolo shot-stopper denies the Juventus mainman.

75' Dybala wins a free-kick deep on the right flank. A matter of worry, this, for the host. No damage done, whatsoever.

74' SUBSTITUTION: Marlon comes on for Chiriches

70' DRINKS BREAK

66' SUBSTITUTION: Magnanelli benched for Bourabia. De Ligt, meanwhile, goes for a change of boots.

64' ALL SQUARE AGAIN! And it is Alex Sandro who finds himself on the scoresheet now. What was Locatelli thinking? Sloppy defending on the host's part, at the near post, leads to its undoing. Alex Sandro, unmarked, calmly nods it in.

61' SUBSTITUTION: Douglas Costa IN. Bernardeschi OUT. Interestingly, Sarri has made four subs in three windows. Now he will be unable to make a fifth change. Strange call, considering how De Ligt is suffering from a troubled shoulder.

59' Ronaldo misfires! AGAIN. A visible impetus, though, is evident in the Juve attack after the introduction of Rabiot and Dybala.

56' SUBSTITUTIONS: Dybala comes on for Higuain. Pjanic benched for Rabiot.

54' A Berardi assist does the damage this time. The Juve defenders could just watch the ball roll by as Caputo slides in at the far post to slot home.

51' Berardiiiii... GOOAALLLLL! Looked like an action replay of Manchester City's David Silva's goal earlier tonight against Bournemouth in the Premier League. Wins a freekick at the fringe of the Juventus box. Sends in a curler over the wall and bam! Szczesny didn't even put in half-an-effort to stop that.

47' A frustrated Ronaldo appeals but all of it falls on deaf ears. A quick indirect freekick taken from an awkward angle and no way was the wall 10 yards out. At least not Magnanelli, who kept charging towards the Portuguese striker as soon as the referee blew his whistle.

46'SUBSTITUTION: Rugani replaces Chiellini ahead of the second half.

HALF-TIME: Juventus does look to be coasting right now but the quality response from Sassuolo, thus far, can only mean we have an exciting half coming up shortly.

45 + 8' Bernardeschi smoothly lays it in the path of Ronaldo who uses his left foot to take a chance and misfires. It flies way above the target.

45 + 6 ' Berardi breaks into a quick run to drill a low shot that goes wide.

45 + 1' Sassuolo continue to look confident on the ball, its coach Roberto De Zerbi having granted the side the freedom to "invent". The side has been really unpredictable when it comes to creating opportunities out of thin air.

45' There will be an added time of five minutes in this half.

42' YELLOW! Magnanelli has been booked for tripping Ronaldo up as the latter looked to go after the loose ball.

40' Berardi had a lot of space to act upon but Bogo decides to go at it all by himself. He misfires and the ball sails way over the crossbar into the empty stands.

35' Sassuolo's counter-attack neutralised after Ronaldo's swing at the host's end, from 20 yards out, goes in vein.

34' Juventus not being able to get beyond its own half at the moment.

33' Berardi continues to build the pressure on the defending champion, sending a curler off target, this time.

29' SASSUOLO PULLS ONE BACK RIGHT ON TIME! A pinball buildup sees the ball coming off Alex Sandro to find Caputo. He swivels it down to his left to Djuricic, who wastes no time in slamming it into the top corner.

26' Sassuolo, up in the final third, continues to look dangerous. But Szczesny has been up and about tonight, pulling off another beautiful save. Domenico Berardi gets some space to act on and has a shot right down the centre only to be punched away to safety.

24' DRINKS BREAK

23' Szczesny pulls off a stunner to deny Muldur. The latter sends in a scorcher, which takes a deflection off Matuidi. The Juve shot-stopper is quick to dive to his right to get his finger tips on the ball.

20' Ronaldo goes for it again but higely misjudges the power on that half-volley with the goalie well out of his line.

16' Berardi shoots it over the woodwork. The host is beginning to show some promise in its counter-attacks.

15' Caputo launches a confident effort but Szczesny dashes out to smother the ball at his feet.

12' GOAL! Pjanic crafts another assist, playing a through ball beautifully on to Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentine beats the Sassuolo 'keeper one-on-one with a firm shot at the near post.

8' Bernardeschi wins a freekick at the very margin of the Sassuolo box. A poor effort from Ronaldo follows, which ricochets off the wall.

5' DANILOOOOOO! What a way to mark his birthday. Miralem Pjanic takes a corner and plays it short to an unmarked Danilo at the right. He swings wildly and the brute pace on the ball ensures he finds the net within a matter of a few microseconds.

2' Cristiano Ronaldo, assisted by Federico Bernardeschi, goes for the trigger early on in the game. A left-footed shot from just outside the box takes a deflection to roll out of play.

1' Higuain is operating right up front for the visitor, ahead of Paulo Dybala. The play is trapped in the Sassuolo half.

KICK-OFF:  "Peep..." goes the referee's whistle and Juventus has set the ball rolling. Chiellini is back as the skipper of Maurizio Sarri's side. The coach can already be seen taking copious notes.

The players are warming up and we are only minutes away from live action...FIRST HALF
