Lionel Messi all but confirmed the transfer of FC Barcelona team-mate's transfer to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Wednesday.

Neymar tells Barcelona he wants to leave

The FC Barcelona superstar took to his instagram page to thank Neymar's service to the Catalan club over the last four years.

 

He wrote, "It was a huge pleasure to have shared all these years with you friend @neymarjr I wish you good luck in this new stage of your life. See you tkm."

The Brazilian forward is on the verge of a world record €222million transfer to PSG, after he made it clear to his current bosses earlier today that his future lies away from Camp Nou.

Neymar signed for Barcelona in 2013 and went on to become a part of a famed trio alongside Messi and Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez. Together, they helped the club achieve a historic treble in 2015.
