Rishi Narain pipped Kapil Dev to win the title in the inaugural AVT Champions Tour at the Classic Golf and Country Club course.
Rishi, a member of the Asian Games gold medal-winning golf team in the 1982 and Kapil, captain the cricket World Cup-winning team in 1983, tied for the title following a two-round aggregate of 146.

Since Rishi carded 76 and 70, as compared to Kapil’s 74 and 72, the tie-break favoured the former owing to his lower score in the final round.
The competition was held across four age-groups: 50-54 years, 55-59, 60-64 and over-65.
Three more events are scheduled on the Tour, with Bengaluru hosting the second leg in June. The venues and dates for the remaining two events are yet to be finalised.
