Rishi Narain pipped Kapil Dev to win the title in the inaugural AVT Champions Tour at the Classic Golf and Country Club course.

Since Rishi carded 76 and 70, as compared to Kapil’s 74 and 72, the tie-break favoured the former owing to his lower score in the final round.

The competition was held across four age-groups: 50-54 years, 55-59, 60-64 and over-65.

Three more events are scheduled on the Tour, with Bengaluru hosting the second leg in June. The venues and dates for the remaining two events are yet to be finalised.
