Justin Rose enjoyed the greatest winning margin of his career as he claimed the Indonesian Masters title by eight strokes on Sunday.

The Englishman had to play 28 holes on the final day after storms had interrupted proceedings at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club, but made light of the extra workload to finish 29 under par.

That represented the lowest winning total on the Asian Tour this year as he finished well clear of Phachara Khongwatmai in second.

Having finished off round three by signing for a 66, Rose was supreme across his final 18, picking up birdies at five of the six holes from the third to the eighth, before an eagle at the par-five ninth.

More gains followed at 10, 12 and 13 and although he bogeyed 16, that was recovered as he finished in fitting style with another birdie at the last for a round of 62, leaving him to celebrate a third win from his past six outings.

"That's my largest ever winning margin at a tournament," Rose said.

"To really do it at the end of the long season, to come here with my game in good shape and to deal with the jetlag, deal with the rain delays, to stay focused all four rounds, is something I'm very pleased about."
