Vani set to extend winning run on Hero Women’s Pro Tour

Vani — who has won three titles in her four starts this season — enters the event in good form, having recently won the eighth leg held at Clover Greens in Bangalore.

Vani Kapoor starts as the favourite in the ninth leg of the Hero women’s professional golf tour, which tees of at Prestige Golfshire in Bangalore on Wednesday. A total prize money of ₹6,00,000 is on offer.

Vani, who has won three titles in her four starts this season, lies third on the Hero Order of Merit. The Delhi golfer enters the event in good form, having won the eighth leg, held at Clover Greens here.

Gaurika Bishnoi (eight starts, one title) and Amandeep Drall (six starts, two titles) occupy the first and second spots respectively on the Hero Order of Merit.

Vani has been paired with Siddhi Kapoor and amateur Pranavi Urs, while Amandeep goes out in the first group as a two—ball with Sonam Chugh.

Gaurika has been paired with Neha and Trisha Sunil in the second to last group, while the last group has Gursimar Badwal, amateur Rhea P. Saravanan and Mehar Atwal.
