Wang Jeunghun will take a three-shot lead into the final round of the Qatar Masters after carding a superb seven-under 65 on Saturday.

The World No. 60 claimed his first two European Tour titles last year and is poised to land another at Doha Golf Club following a blemish-free penultimate round.

Wang was among a record nine players to hold a share of the lead at the halfway point and went out on his own on moving day, giving himself breathing space on 15 under.

The composed 21-year-old came up with three birdies to go out in 33 and a further four gains after the turn to take charge, with Jaco Van Zyl and Nacho Elvira tied for second following rounds of 68.

Wang said: "My iron play was really good and my putting was really good. I shot seven under and I'm so happy that I didn't make any bogeys.

"I don't want to think about winning, I just want to focus on my own game. I have a good chance to win."

Elvira was left to rue a double bogey at 15, but the Spaniard responded well to that setback by birdying the last two holes. Van Zyl has not dropped a shot in his last two rounds as the South African eyes a first European Tour title.

Thomas Aiken is in outright fourth and four off the pace, while Nathan Kimsey, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Joakim Lagergren, Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Andy Sullivan are all on 10 under.
