34' HAT-TRICK FOR GOVERS! The minnows fail to take a free hit as Jeremy Hayward pounces on a loose ball just outside the penalty are and passes it to Blake Govers, who smashes it past a helpless Wang Caiyu to complete his hattrick!
33' COMPLETE ANNIHILATION! Australia complete a round of passes which represents a training drill as Flynn Ogilvie finishes into an unguarded net after being left unmarked inside the circle. Australia 7-0.

29' WHETTON ADDS THE SIXTH! The World No. 1 team is having fun at the expense of China. Eddie Ockenden and Blake Govers put Jake Whetton through to the goal with just the goalkeeper to beat and the forward does the job with ease.

First Quarter
15' GOAL AUSTRALIA! Jeremy Hayward's dragflick is saved well by Chinese goal keeper Wang Caiyu, but Dylan Wotherspoon latches on to the rebound and cuts a pass to captain Aran Zalewski who finishes at the far post.
14' Flynn Ogilvie reaches the baseline with a run on the right side, but Du Talake manages to come up a clean tackle to dispossess him.
10' AUSTRALIA SCORES! Blake Govers opens the scoring for the Kookaburras with a superb dragflick into the roof of the net.
9' Guan Quyang tries to dribble through the left flank but Australia regains possession and wins a penalty corner through Jake Harvie.
5' China sees the ball for the first time in the match, but its last for less than a minute as Australia breaks away with pace and wins a penalty corner. But China reviews the decision and third umpires declares that the ball has hit an Australian foot first.
3' Blake Govers flashes a cross across the goal, while Matthew Swann wins a free hit for the Aussies on the edge of the dotted line.
